Studio Policies

At Dance Hub, our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for all participants. The following policies are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and a positive experience for students, instructors, guest instructors, and visitors. By registering for any class, workshop, event, or studio rental, you agree to abide by the policies outlined below.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

24+ Hours Notice

  • A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a registration and request either a reschedule or a refund.

  • If there is another suitable class with the same instructor and within the same price range, your registration may be transferred to that class if spots are available.

  • If no suitable reschedule option is available, a full refund will be issued by the instructor who received the payment for the class.

Short Notice (Less Than 24 Hours)

  • Registrations canceled for any reason less than 24 hours before the start of class are not eligible for rescheduling, refunds, future class credits, or make-up classes.

  • If your spot is successfully resold, a refund may be issued solely at the discretion of the studio or instructor.

No-Show (without or with a short notice)

  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds, future class credits, reschedules, or make-up classes, regardless of the reason or whether notice was provided after the 24-hour cancellation window.

  • Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future registrations or removal from class eligibility at the studio's discretion. Dance Hub reserves the right to prioritize class availability for students who consistently attend the classes they register for. If a participant develops a pattern of registering for classes and failing to attend, future registration requests may be denied without notice.

Guest Instructor Classes & Workshops

For classes and workshops taught by guest instructors where payment is collected directly by the instructor (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, etc.):

  • Refunds are the responsibility of the guest instructor. The studio does not issue refunds for payments made directly to instructors.

  • To reserve a spot, both online registration through the studio system and payment to the instructor are required.

  • Registration is considered incomplete if either step is missing, and the spot may be given to another participant who completes both requirements.

  • Valid contact information, a signed waiver, and acceptance of studio policies are required during online registration. Participation is not permitted until these requirements are completed.

  • All studio policies, including cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, no-shows, age requirements, and other participation policies, apply to guest instructor classes and workshops.

General Participation Requirements

  • All participants must be at least 18 years old.

  • A completed waiver is required before participation in any class, workshop, practice session, or event.

  • Dance Hub reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who has not completed registration requirements, signed the required waiver, or complied with studio policies.

  • Respectful behavior toward instructors, staff, guests, and fellow participants is expected at all times. Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from class or the studio without refund.

Minimum Class Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 participants is required for a class to run.

  • All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Classes with only 1–2 registered participants may be canceled or rescheduled at the discretion of the studio or instructor. In such cases, affected participants may choose between a reschedule option or a full refund.

Studio-Initiated Cancellations

If a class is canceled by the studio for any reason, registered participants will be offered:

  • A reschedule option with the same instructor and within the same price range; or

  • A full refund if no suitable reschedule option is available.

Future class credits or make-up classes will not be issued.

Thank you for taking the time to review our policies. These guidelines are in place to help us maintain a safe, respectful, and organized environment for everyone at Dance Hub.

Our classes often have limited availability, and we strive to ensure that spots are accessible to students who are committed to attending. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting our policies, planning ahead when possible, and communicating any changes to your registration in a timely manner.

If you have any questions about these policies, please contact us before registering. We look forward to welcoming you to the studio and being part of your dance journey.
